Accounting integration for your removals CRM.
MicroBOS connects to Xero or FreeAgent. When a customer accepts your quote online, MicroBOS creates the invoice in your accounting software from the same quote lines, so the office does not copy the job across by hand.
The accounting link is part of the Business OS plan, which is not on sale yet. Companies that sign up now can use the free tools and Lead Manager and move to Business OS when it opens.
From accepted quote to invoice in four steps.
Connect your accounts
In MicroBOS, open Accounting and choose Xero or FreeAgent. You sign in to your accounting software and allow MicroBOS to create invoices and contacts.
Quote the job as usual
Build the quote from your price book. The quote lines, such as crew hours, van and packing materials, carry through to the invoice.
The customer accepts online
Accepting the quote books the job in MicroBOS. MicroBOS then creates the invoice in your accounts in the background.
Check and send from your accounts
The invoice waits in your accounting software for you to check, approve and send in the way you already do.
What the Accounting link covers
What it does
- Creates one invoice for each accepted quote, never two for the same quote.
- Adds the customer to the invoice by name, with their email address.
- Copies each quote line with its description, quantity and price.
- Uses the lead reference as the invoice reference, so the invoice and the job match.
- Tries again up to three times if your accounting software does not answer, and shows the last ten attempts on the Accounting screen.
What it does not do
- Send or approve the invoice. You stay in control of what goes to the customer.
- Record payments, or bring anything back from your accounts into MicroBOS.
- Set VAT rates or account codes. Your accounting software applies its own defaults, so check them before you approve.
- Create an invoice when you mark a job booked yourself. The invoice follows the customer accepting a quote online.

Which accounting software does MicroBOS work with?
MicroBOS works with Xero and FreeAgent. A company connects one of the two.
When is the invoice created?
MicroBOS creates the invoice when the customer accepts your quote online. Accepting the quote also books the job.
Will the invoice go to my customer automatically?
No. MicroBOS creates the invoice as a draft in your accounts. You check it and send it yourself.
What happens if I disconnect?
MicroBOS stops creating invoices. Invoices already in your accounts stay there untouched.
Which plan includes the accounting link?
The accounting link is part of Business OS at £50 a month. Business OS is coming soon and is not on sale yet.
