Ask your AI assistant about your jobs and quotes.
Connect Claude, or another AI assistant that accepts connectors, to MicroBOS. You can then ask about your jobs, quotes and prices in plain English, for example "which moves are booked for next Saturday?". The connection only looks things up and changes nothing in MicroBOS.
The AI assistant connection is part of the Business OS plan, which is not on sale yet.
Connect your assistant in three steps.
Create a key in MicroBOS
Open AI in MicroBOS and create a named key. MicroBOS shows the key once and keeps only a scrambled copy.
Add MicroBOS to your assistant
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then add a custom connector with the MicroBOS address and your key.
Ask about your business
Ask for a summary of the business, a list of jobs at a stage, one job by reference, your quotes or your price book.
What the AI assistant link covers
What it does
- Gives a summary of the business: plan, credits and the number of jobs at each stage.
- Lists your last 100 jobs, filtered by stage if you ask.
- Looks up one job by reference, with contacts, addresses, services, notes and quotes.
- Lists your quotes and your price book.
- Shows your company's data only, and stops working the moment you delete the key.
What it does not do
- Change anything. The assistant cannot create, edit or delete jobs, quotes or prices.
- Send emails or quotes to customers.
Common questions about AI assistant and MicroBOS
Which AI assistants work with MicroBOS?
Claude works through its custom connectors. Most other assistants that accept connectors in the same standard format work too.
Can the AI assistant change my jobs?
No. The connection is read only. The assistant can look up jobs, quotes and prices but cannot change them.
How do I stop the connection?
Delete the key on the AI screen in MicroBOS. The assistant then has no access.
Which plan includes the AI connection?
The AI connection is part of Business OS at £50 a month. Business OS is coming soon and is not on sale yet.
